TRYP by Wyndham Montijo Parque Hotel

I needed an iron and ironing board. They initially supplied a combined contraption that proved to be badly wired. But when I explained the problem, the housekeeping staff were very helfpful.

My husband and I stayed here one night at the end of a long trip in order to be within a short distance to the airport. We arrived at 5:00 and parked right in front of the hotel. We checked in at the desk and then asked where we should park and were told that where it was was fine. We went to our room which was a twin room, which was fine, and opened the windows. It was a beautiful day so we decided to take a walk in and around the park in the next block. There were a lot of families enjoying the park which is pretty much the center of a neighborhood. We looked around to see if there were restaurants nearby, but not seeing any we knew we could eat at the hotel restaurant at 8:00. We went back to our room and enjoyed a spectacular view of the sunset. At 8:00 we went to the restaurant and had dinner. Very enjoyable.

The room was spacious and one of the exceptional features of this hotel is the way the rooms are shaped out - offering a balcony area even though it is not a balcony but part of the room but you have lots of space, table and 2 chairs for meals or do some work and six next to the window to look outside. The beds was comforty and big enough. The toliet is big and you have tons of space. The staff were kind and polite, cleaning was good. I have not tried their restuarant so can't provide review on it.

We stayed here for easy access to the airport. Large room with a nook for a table and chairs, included a frig! The breakfast was included and it was terrific with lots of hot and cold choices. Also there was free parking in their lot.

Good hotel at good price. Not far from the outlet and bridge V. de Gama. Lisbon downtown is 35-40 minutes by car. Breakfast was good for the price
